Thanks to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday--I'll try to log on later and respond to individual posts, but I am running ridiculously behind on the day as my cats used cat gravity to hold me hostage in bed until almost noon.
It's looking like the computer models are heading south on Dean, I really hope they are right, though I pity the poor Mexicans in the way. I'm not happy with the size of the cat carrier (medium sized dog carrier, I believe--it was left by the people who lived here before me) I have when it comes to two cats, but I'm thinking they'd be happier together than in separate ones and I really can't afford another one. Still if Dean takes a northern turn, I may be out hunting for one anyway.
